We are delighted to present the full programme for the 2026 LU Open Science Days. With a diverse line-up of speakers from all over Lund University, as well as contributors offering national perspectives, we will explore the prioritized goals related to open science over two half days.
The first day will feature a presentation by Ann-Charlotte Larsson, professor in Bioenergy Technology at Linnaeus University, about the university’s open science subproject Collaboration and Public Engagement, which she led. We will then hear the latest updates on IAC Art Files, a new solution for artistic research data, as well as examples from Lund University on open access to scholarly publications and infrastructures that supports open science.
The second conference day will start with a presentation by Gustav Nilsonne, who is Associate Professor of neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet, research data specialist and member of the steering committee of the Swedish chapter of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA). We will then explore projects and initiatives at Lund University relating to CoARA, citizen and participatory science and open access to research data and metadata.
Full program and registration link can be found here.
The organisers strongly encourage all LU employees and researchers keen to learn about and discuss open science related topics to sign up and join us on 23-24 of November in the auditorium at the Centre for Languages and Literature (SOL). We look forward to seeing you there!
