Teaser: Poster mingle at the LU Open Science Days 2025

LU Open Science Days 2025 is fast approaching, and we’re excited to present a diverse lineup of exhibitors from organizations and infrastructures in Lund and beyond, showcasing a variety of approaches of practicing and supporting open science.

InfraVis invites attendees to an interactive VR demonstration, offering the chance to explore datasets in a virtual environment. MAXIV will display a model as well as present their work. SciLifeLab will present their SciLifeLab Training Hub, SciLifeLab Data Centre as well as an Open Science ferris wheel, with quiz questions about Open Science practices. ICOS Sweden will highlight their role as a nationally significant research infrastructure for carbon cycle quantification. European Spallation Source ERIC (ESS) will showcase their work with open data and publication repositories. The IP4OS project will present its efforts to integrate intellectual property management into open science workflows to enhance knowledge valorisation. Vattenhallen Science Center will share their involvement in ForskarFredag, Sweden’s most widespread science festival. The ReproducibiliTea Initiative will also be present, discussing their journal club activities.

The mingle will also feature posters from the Research Data Office at Lund University, the LUCRIS administration, Malmö University Library, ACTRIS, and the Open Science Community Lund.

In addition to this mix of exhibitors, conference participants will engage in dynamic discussions and panels. The conference also features two keynote speakers: Sumithra Velupillai, Senior Advisor at Swedish Research Council and Malcolm MacLeod, Professor of Neurology and Translational Neuroscience and Co-Director of Edinburgh Neuroscience at University of Edinburgh.
